The 2025 Co-anda 2x has the new Hyperdymium 2 motor, with twice the air pressure, and its own series of attachments. The 2024 i.d. offers the same app styling with the previous motor. You feel the difference mostly while drying and on thick or stubborn hair.
The i.d. is our pick: six attachments and the same app styling as the latest generation, at a considerably lower price. If you want the strongest machine, or have very thick hair, take the Co-anda 2x.
The Origin is the entry model: three attachments and no app styling. If you mostly want to curl and dry straight to wavy hair, it does the job. It does not include a diffuser for curly hair; in that case a Curly + Coily set is the better choice.
It does, but then take a Curly + Coily set of the i.d. or the Co-anda 2x. It holds a conical curling attachment, a wide tooth comb and a diffuser, made for curls and coils.
Not at the shops we follow. The 2024 i.d. is its successor, with the same base plus app styling. The older attachments still fit the i.d. and the Origin, but not the Co-anda 2x.
