Description

The Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III Macro VXD for full-frame mirrorless Sony E-mount cameras offers a 1:1 reproduction ratio and a short 23cm minimum focusing distance. Designed with 15 elements in 12 groups, including four LD elements and a BBAR-G2 coating, it suppresses aberrations while minimizing flare and ghosting. This lens features Tamron's first 12-blade circular aperture for stunningly smooth out-of-focus highlights and a quiet VXD autofocus motor, making it perfect for close-ups, portraits, and street photography alike.

Pros & cons

Pro: Features an innovative 12-blade circular aperture for exceptionally smooth, circular bokeh.
Pro: The high-speed, silent VXD autofocus motor ensures precise focus tracking without disturbing wildlife.
Con: Lacks built-in optical stabilization, relying instead on the camera body's in-sensor stabilization.
