Description

The Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III Macro VXD delivers outstanding resolution from the center to the edges with soft, beautiful bokeh. Featuring a 1:1 reproduction ratio and a short 23cm minimum focus distance, it brings tiny subjects to life-sized detail. Its advanced optical design includes 15 elements in 12 groups to effectively suppress chromatic aberrations, while a high-speed VXD linear motor provides fast and silent autofocus. With Tamron's first 12-blade circular aperture, a moisture-resistant construction, and a fluorine coating, this lens is ideal for macro, portrait, and close-up photography.

Pros & cons

Pro: Features a unique 12-blade circular aperture for extremely smooth, round bokeh.
Pro: High-speed and virtually silent VXD autofocus mechanism is perfect for tracking close-up subjects.
Con: Lacks built-in optical image stabilization, relying instead on camera body stabilization.
